Antimicrobial resistance is a global public health concern that threatens the effectiveness of antibiotics and other antimicrobial treatments. The emergence of resistant diseases poses a serious threat to society and medical professionals. The development of efficient reagents is crucial for research, diagnosis, and innovative treatments. However, there are numerous obstacles in the fight against AMR, including the rapid evolution of resistance in microbial populations, overuse and abuse of existing drugs, and the costly and time-consuming process of obtaining regulatory approval. These challenges must be addressed to reduce the threat of AMR.
